Terms & Conditions of Purchase

Payment Schedules

For next-day and next-week orders, payments are due to place your order. These transactions have fixed prices and are processed through our Online Store.

All other orders (both personal and corporate) are Custom Orders subject to our availability and discretion. We need at least 2 weeks’ notice; 3 weeks’ notice if custom stamps are required.

While we’ve done our best to clearly articulate our ‘starting from’ pricing on our website, once we understand your vision we’ll be able to give you an accurate quote for your order. To confirm you would like to proceed with the order, the following payment terms apply:

• Custom Orders under $100 must be paid in full to secure the agreed booking date.
• Custom orders over $100 require a 50% deposit to secure the booking date, with the remaining fees due 2 weeks prior to pick up or postage.

Failure to pay your deposit or invoice in alignment with these terms will result in your order being cancelled with no refunds provided. For orders over $100, your deposit will not be refunded in the event of failed payment.

Custom Order Changes of Date and Cancellations

We know life happens and sometimes plans change. We’ll do our best to accommodate a change of date for your order if required. Please remember that your cookies will last for 6 weeks’ in their heat sealed bags.

For all cancellations, if custom stamps, cutters, or edible prints have been purchased or created for your order, they cannot be refunded due to the personalised nature of the items. These items are excluded from the definition of a “full refund” for the purpose of the paragraph below.

Cancellations with more than 2 weeks’ notice can receive a full refund. Cancellations within 1-2 weeks of pickup or postage will receive a 50% refund of the total order. Cancellations with less than 1 weeks’ notice will not be refunded.

Please remember, a “full refund” is the cost of your order, minus any expenses already incurred in custom stamps, cutters, or edible prints for your custom order.

Preview Photos

The process of baking and designing cookies is a lengthy one and we are unable to provide preview photos during the design aspect of production. We are experts at what we do and appreciate your faith in us to create the perfect cookie based on the information you provide us at the time of ordering.

Inspiration

If you have inspiration pictures for your cookie designs, we’d love to see them! Please keep in mind we will only use the inspiration pictures as exactly that – inspiration! We cannot replicate another cookie artist’s work. Inspiration can also come in other forms too, such as invitations or colour palettes. We will do our best to create a set that reflects your theme, inspiration, infusing our creativity.

Copyright protected designs (like Disney, Marvel, etc) can't be replicated, however inspiration from these themes can be taken.

Photography and Colours

Due to the handmade nature of our cookies, colours and lighting in your final product may differ slightly to the photos we have online. Don’t worry, you won’t end up with orange cookies if you’ve ordered neutral ones!

We do our absolute best to try and make sure everything is as accurate as it can be, but just keep in mind different screens can show different colours. Hopefully you don’t even notice the difference!

Keep in mind that photos published online can make everything appear gigantic (how awesome would it be to eat gigantic cookies all day?!).

A standard sized cookie is 7cm round. Many of our cookies are larger than this and this will be reflected in pricing.

Alterations

Next-day packs and pre-designed limited releases available to purchase through our Online Store are unable to be altered or changed in any way. If you require a different design, please get in touch with us regarding a Custom Order.

Custom Orders are unable to be altered once your deposit is paid, as we begin to source everything required to fulfil your order by the agreed time.

Refunds

Orders placed through our Online Store are final. Refunds will not be issued for change of mind.

We make sure our cookies are in tip-top condition for all pickup orders. Please handle them with care, as we can’t be held responsible for breakages once they have been given to you.

As mentioned in our Shipping Policy, we send your cookies carefully packaged. They are perfect when they leave us, however we can’t be held responsible for breakages or damage that occurs in transit. Postage is at your own risk and refunds will not be issued in this situation.

Please see our ‘Custom Order Cancellations’ section for information relating to Custom Order refunds prior to pickup or shipping.

Due to the made-to-order, edible nature of our products, returns are not accepted. If there has been an error with your order fulfilment, please let us know as we will do our best to rectify this situation.

Pickup

When you purchase next-day cookies through our online store, your order will be ready for collection on the next business day. We will provide you with the collection information including your locker and combination. Pickup days must be honoured.

For next-week cookies, you will be asked to nominate a Friday AM/PM, Saturday AM/PM timeslot at checkout. Your order will be ready for collection on the nominated Friday/Saturday, one week after placing your order. We will provide you with the address, locker, and combination before pickup. Pickup days and times must be honoured.

Refunds will not be given if you do not show up for pick up. If you need to reschedule your pickup, time then please get in touch with us ASAP. We will always do our best to accommodate your needs, however please understand we are a small family business with young children and greatly appreciate your prompt arrival.

Sharing Photos

We love to take photos of all the cookies we make and we reserve the right to share them for business purposes on our social media, website, and other promotional materials. If you don’t want your photos shared, please let us know when you place your order. If you’d like your order to remain a surprise, just let us know and we’ll make sure we don’t share them before the event.

We love to see our cookies in the wild. Feel free to tag us in posts or stories!

Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions

Paying for your purchase or order indicates your agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

Shipping Policy

Next day orders will be dispatched the following business day, sent via Express Post. During busy periods orders may take up to 2 days to be dispatched. We only use Express shipping via Australia Post to minimise any chance of breakages.

Metro cities usually arrive within 1-2 business days once shipped. Regional and orders to WA can take up to 4 days to arrive. Please keep this in mind when placing your order, as delivery timeframes are out of our control. This includes shipping delays during peak seasons.

Please double check your order before processing to ensure the correct order and delivery details have been entered. These details will also be provided on your receipt. If you notice any errors, please get in touch immediately. If your order has already been dispatched, we cannot modify the shipping address and will not provide a refund.

Our cookies are packed with great care to minimise the risk of any damages; however, we do not take any responsibility for postal delays, breakages, or lost packages. Postage is entirely at your own risk.

Custom orders that require shipping will be dispatched up to a week before your event date.

Any changes to dates must be communicated with at least 14 days’ notice. Our availability is not guaranteed if you ask to change dates.
